Agree with some of the reviews. Great place for before and after hiking Kilimanjaro. The food there is great, breakfast as well as the snack menu. Pizza was fantastic!!! The property is located in a burrow, but behind the gate it is relaxing and safe. Two downsides that will not affect your stay. This place does not take credit cards,... More

We stayed at Aihadi Lodge at the end of of Tanzanian holiday before our road trip back to Nairobi. This little oasis in a residential area of Arusha is lovely. If you are looking for somewhere to lay your head on a comfy pillow in Arusha with great food and real people this is the place you should stop. As... More

We arrived shortly after midnight after 29 hours of flying, and after driving down a rocky, slum-lined road, the gates opened to a nice lodge with bungalows. The room was clean and the screens worked, but there was no water. They also turn all their ouside lights off at night. I had to go tripping around in the dark to... More

Stayed two nights on the front end of our safari. Nice room, had to prewarm the shower water and only a curtain from bathroom to room, so little privacy. Nice meals, very quiet which was really nice. We were the only two guests there at the time. Arrived to a glass of juice which was refreshing.

After 8 days on Safari we ended up on Arusha, down a bumpy dirt road where we arrived at a gate that opened up to paradise. Bungalow type rooms spread out over a well manicured property with beautiful vegetation and a pool. The customer service was impeccable. Meals were included in our plan and they were a set menu and... More

Pool steak beer friendly staff - they were so nice about our group being shall we say ... overzealous in our celebrating a successful climb! The bar stayed open until the morning after we came in from the town which was a lovely surprise - glorious breakfast french toast fresh juice and fruit breads and cereals - I enjoyed the... More

I stayed at the Ahadi Lodge for one night before and one night after a Kilimanjaro trek. The service was excellent, and Erica our host made us feel comfortable and gave us a warm welcome back after the trek, and made sure everyone in the group was OK and had what we needed. The food was tasty, too. Rooms are... More

Stayed at Ahadi Lodge last February and was extremely pleased with the level of service and accommodation. When we arrived at 11pm the staff made sure that we were taken care of and fed! They had prepared a lovely meal just for the two of us. I am a vegetarian and they created a very creative menu which was so... More

I stayed at Ahadi Lodge for 6 nights while visiting Tanzania to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro and embark on a safari. Erica the hostess made me feel as if I was part of her extended family. Actually, the entire staff at Ahadi Lodge was extraordinarily welcoming, professional, and honest. Not only was the atmosphere welcoming the food was superb. I had... More

We stayed here for 2 nights prior to our safari. We didn't arrive until about 9.30pm but Erica the owner was waiting to great us. She had also arranged for dinner for us once we had settled in. The following day we just spent at Ahadi lazing around the lovely pool and garden and eating and drinking and just generally... More
