The Dephani Hotel in Negombo is really nice. You pay for a standard room about 2000. The rooms are really big, with fan, mosquito net, towels and a balcony with ocean view. Not all rooms are nice. Prefer the rooms downstairs. Not too clean but it is exactly what you may expect for rates between 1300-1800 Rs. Very nice staff.
