Perfect location after long flight or before departure. Clean room, friendly owner, good location close to beach and in 10 min arounds everything you need. Owner friendly, helpful and perfect english.

We stayed here the day we arrived in Srilanka. We arrived late with prior booking. The bed was comfortable, room was clean and I liked having the balcony. Staff were friendly and helpful. The only negative comment I have is that the door to our room made a loud irritating noise every time we opened/closed the door.

We booked a room at Marine guesthouse for our last night before departure. In this context, the room was suitable. The bed was large and comfortable, the bathroom clean. The inexistant service and the location on the land side of the main road do not make it a friendly place to stay.

nice balcony, but not a huge ocean view, a little blocked by buildings on the opposite side. great large bed, good fan, decent net, strong but loud AC. little tv. large spacious bathroom, basic fittings, semi decent shower. overall decentvalue for money, but a little far from bars and city center....

We stayed here for 2 nights at the start of our trip round Sri Lanka. Even though we arrived around 4 am the owner was there to show us to our room. Clean and spacious with a huge comfortable bed and a nice large communal area to relax. Good location near the beach and restaurants. Would happily stay here again.
