Our group took over the hotel for a wedding. The whole experience and atmosphere were incomparable. The hotel is converted from an old largely single storey house with bedrooms round a courtyard. We staid in the Sun House the first 3 days of our trip to Sri Lanka. And I wish we had staid more. Eventhough Sri Lanka is remarkably friendly and beautiful, Thesunhouse has its own standards. It is beautiful, secluded, very well decorated- nice pool and wonderful food. And above all that a absolutely amazing and attentive staff.
