We spent out honeymoon here and could not have asked for a more perfect setting or service. We were fortunate that there weren't really any other people staying, so we have virtually one to one service! If More

Stunning setting, wonderful rooms, amazing staff, great food, fantastic pool - simply perfect. Could have spent 2 weeks there, unfortunately only had 3 days before moving on. More

Stayed at Taru Villa in Bentota for 2 nights recently. Great location near fantastic beach and super, low-key service. Food excellent and we had a great room (9) with a sea view. Thought that it might be getting a bit faded around the edges as been open now about 4-5 years but everything remains in v good condition. Great pool... More

had the opportunity to stay at River House (no beach) and Taprobane on the beach in Bentota; but you shuld really try the Park Street hotel in Colombo (magic at nite) the food is very good in all places, but esp in Taprobane. Understand they are opening up in Nuwra Elya where they took over a place up the hill... More
