The resort is between a lagoon, river and ocean - how cool. Rooms were small but clean. Yes they do need some updating - but they were doing some work while we were there. This is the 7th time my husband and I have stayed in this hotel. We make it a point to stay (even if only for a couple of days) at this hotel whenever we visit Sri-Lanka (which is annually). ive statyed here on several occassions with my family. we've alwasy had a great experience. rooms are clean, beach is amazing, since the Tsunami, everything was re built so it looks nice and new
