This hotel is very basic indeed. The rooms have a distinctly worn feel about them and the corridors and public areas are very grubby. The breakfast food was fine but the coffee was instant and ghastly. The location isn't all that convenient being a good 25 minutes walk from the town centre. Just got back from the Astoria where we went to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary. Complimentary champagne in our room, with a card started our trip beautifully, and it just got better and better. Thes hotel is very dirty and smelly and poorly located. I made the mistake of walking barefooted after showering and had to go back and wash my feet,Coffee was instamy and horrible food was bland and tasteless, the dining room was too small and therefore crowded. The self serve buffet lines were endless. more

Astoria is out of the busy hotel area in Tiberias, so is very convenient. It is a small hotel in the center. Rooms and common areas are very new and have a lovely pool. Food and staff very nice. I really recomended. more
