I stayed for one night in the Gai Beach Resort Hotel as part of a large group touring around the Galilee area in winter, and it was a very pleasant experience. Here are the things I enjoyed about this hotel: 1) Beautiful waterfront - the wide expanse of waterfront stretches the length of the hotel buildings and still a fair... More

It had been several years since I stayed at the Gai Beach Resort and I had completely forgotten how good it was. The rooms are standard, upscale tourist style and the dining was fairly typical group type buffet. However, on the second night of our stay we were treated to a lavish outdoor bar-b-que on the expansive patio area. Steaks,... More

The Gai Beach Hotel in Tiberias was the most tranquil place I stayed in Israel. Although the room accommodations were a bit outdated, the waterfront experience on the Sea of Galilee was miraculous. There is also a small outdoor waterpark at the hotel that remains closed in the winter months, but it would be great in the summer if you... More

I will start with the best part, and then briefly discuss the not so great part. The meals were wonderful. There was plenty of healthy delicious tasting food. The patio was lovely, especially in the evening. The patio lights reflect on the pool, and the breeze coming from the sea, persuade you to relax and enjoy your surroundings. I was... More

We didn't stay at the hotel, but spent the day at the attached waterpark. It was awesome!!! I was there with 5 kids ages 10, 8, 6, 4 and 1, lawn chairs and shade everywhere, you can take the plastic chairs INTO the pools, laid back Israeli style so the lifeguards let you go down the slides any way you... I had the opportunity to spend time here with my kids and grand kids. Exceptional. The owner must have an obsession for order and cleanliness. I never saw a piece of litter anywhere. The water park is clean and modern and built for kids of all ages. They have three pools including a 'wave' pool. They have a beach which... More

I travel to Israel annually as a pastor, leading groups here. In the past we have stayed at the Holiday Inn and the Leonardo Palace. Gai Beach is awful. To begin with, the gym doesn't open until 9 and closes at 7, so when we return from touring each day, it's time for the gum and pool and hot tub... More

We organize trips to Israel annually. Gai Beach is our required hotel in Tiberius. Have use a number of others and this one has no downside. New, modern, well designed, etc., etc. Customer service could always be better, but that's true almost everywhere outside USA. Overall a terrific hotel More
