-Quaint dated rooms but clean and cosy. -Thorough and friendly intro and hosting, we felt like we where staying in someones home. -Cerb parking. -Exceptional breakfasts -Located out of town in a quite safe area, but you need a car to reach the hotel. We stayed in room 26, the wifi signal was very weak and there was a lot... More

Loved this place, nice and quiet location, close to Safed and Rosh Pina, not far from Tiberias / the Lake Kinneret. The owners are great and funny people who where very helpful. Good breakfast. Nice surprise for us: the hottub and sauna. Highly recommended. More

On a poorly planned trip, I found myself scared, cold, and shivering in the lobby of the Safed Inn, begging them to have space for me to sleep. Luckily it wasn't a busy night, and Rikki was able to give me a warm, comfortable, immaculately kept room for the night, which is where I feel most places would have stopped.... More

Safed was the highlight of our two week stay in Israel - it's a wonderful town, and the Safed Inn is a great base to explore the area from. The accommodation was clean and functional and better value than we saw anywhere else on our trip. As noted in the other reviews, the proprietors, Riki and Dov, were warm, accommodating,... More

Wish I was there for longer, but the Safed Inn was great. Yes it is not in the center of Safed but if you are going to Safed, there is a good chance you are driving there anyways. It was quiet and cosy and the proprietors were really very nice. There are all the basic amenities and at a very... More

This hostel is run by Ricky, an American woman who made Aliyah to Israel some time ago. We arrived just before Shabbat only to discover that the Inn is located over 3 miles away from the Old City, the part of Safed that most people come to visit. Ricky helped us locate and book a hostel closer to the Old... More

This is no offense to the Proprietors, but I had a very unpleasant stay. My initial thoughts upon arriving was that we were not in the center of Safed, and that the property looked more rustic than I had expected for an inn. Granted, there is a rustic charm to the place, but this is much more like a hostel... More

My husband and I stayed here - and we had booked a private dorm room, not knowing what to expect. It was perfectly adequate, had twin beds and a small en suite. We were told the other more expensive rooms just had nicer furnishings and a bigger bathroom. The owners of this lovely inn are wonderful hosts. They offer a... More

We stayed here twice in a month, once with our daughter and her fiance, and once with another couple of friends. The value can't be beat. It's a slightly funky, very homey retreat. The rooms are comfortable and clean, the outdoors are charming. with flowers everywhere, and all kinds of outdoor furniture meant for relaxing and spending hours into the... More
