The Fauzi Azar Inn is a converted 1800’s residence of a prominent Arab by the same name in the middle of Nazareth’s Old City. Nazareth’s Old City is a quaint district with 8-10 foot wide stone streets and hundreds of small 10 by 20 foot shops. The converted residence resembles a duplex with an interior courtyard shared with another family... more

The Inn is very central for old Nazareth and has a great ambience. It's right in the heart of the souq, which obviously means that parking is some distance away. The double room was very clean with a great bathroom. Sadly, unlike the dorms, it didn't have air conditioning, so that could be a problem if you have a hot... more

I got sucked into the positive reviews of the Fauzi Azar Inn and made it my number one place to stay in Nazareth. It ended up being the most expensive place I stayed at while in Israel. $110 US for a private room is too much for what you get. It's very difficult to get to, when you have a... more

I have been to the Fauzi before and what keeps me coming back is everyone who works there. The Fauzi is clean, the rooms are nice, the people are friendly, fellow travelers are respectful and interesting, and finally Nazareth is a world all to its own and worth discovering in Israel, whether you are Jewish, Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, non-decided, etc.... more

The Fauzi Azar in was really the highlight of our trip to Nazareth, believe it or not. The staff is amazing- so enthusiastic and genuinely concerned with the well-being of the guests. We had a wonderful tour of the old city from one of the hostel volunteers, in which we visited many hidden gems and experienced more of the culture... more

I think the title of this review says it all! We were very excited to stay at this hostel after seeing its website. First geting there is almost impossible. No one and I mean no one had any clue where this hostel was located. When we finally got there, tired and hungry from a long day of travelling what did... more

We booked the private double room at the Fauzi Azar through bookhostels.com. When we arrived, we were told that this room was unavailable and that we could occupy the four-bed private room for an extra charge! No joke. After a cup of tea and some persistence, we were given the four-bed w/ bathroom at no extra charge. The room was... more

I had an amazing stay at the Fauzi Azar Inn. Everyone was very helpfull and nice, Gabi and Suraida in particular. We had a private double room, which was very charming and clean. Upon arrival we were even a little bit sorry that we didn't book a bed in dormitory - they were lovely and we met some great people... more

For three young college girls trying to travel through Israel on a budget, this hostel was PERFECT. The Inn is warm and welcoming, with a chill vibe. We were greeted with big mugs of tea and a tour of the digs when we arrived travel-weary during the night, which was an excellent touch. The rooms are phenomenal. Spacious, airy, and... more
