Although a little pricey this hotel was very clean. It had really tall ceilings so it looked a lot bigger. The washer and dryer didn't do the job so of you plan on doing laundry find a laundry mat. It left powder soap on our clothes. It didn't agitate. After 40 mins in the dryer our clothes were stil damp.... More

I stayed here on business for two nights. The hotel was very clean and modern and it was walking distance from most of everything in downtown. I would stay here again.

Maybe trip advisor needs to check if these unhappy guests really stayed at the same Hotel Artesia and someone is not out just for smearing the hotel's reputation. I stayed at this hotel for 3 weeks and the staff goes out of the way to treat their guests with courtesy and kindness. The manager made arrangements to bring in the... More

I stay here 5-6 times a year on business, for the last 4-5 years. It's the nicest hotel in town amenity wise, but that's where it ends. The staff have zero personality. They're not rude, but they're far from nice. Considering all the nice people I've met in Artesia, this had to be difficult to achieve, but they've done it.... More

The hotel was ok for the night, didn't hear other guests. Maybe we were too tired. The beds were comfortable and the shower good. The morning breakfast items were pretty basic, juice, rolls, etc. There is an inexpensive Italian restaurant next door that was very popular.

I came to Artesia to visit my husband(he was working there for a week). It is a very small town and when we arived to Hotel Artesia we were greeted by a nice young man who helped me get into my room. The rooms are very clean and decorated nice however the beds seem small and the pillows are hard.... More

This weekend was an experience staying at the Hotel Artesia. We arrived on friday and left on sunday. Saturday morning the lights went out at 10:00 am and I called the front office to inform them. They said they would reset the breaker and it took them about 20 minutes to switch it on. Sunday morning I was taking a... More

Got stuck in Artesia for a few days due to some very unforseen travel incidents as well as the storm pummeling the entire state and was very thankful my sister had reccomended this hotel to stay at. Rooms were clean and comfortable, not a bad price for the quality and definately a better experience than another hotel we'd stayed in... More

I have stayed here probably a dizen times in the past few months and this will be my last stay. The cons: 1) The reservation process is difficult and I am sure management either allows it, causes it or refuses todo anything about it. If you reserve online you never get an email confirmation. Additionally, you can only choose the... More

Arrived after dark, after driving on snow covered roads. Snow and ice on all walkways, no attempt to either clear or sand. Entrance to our room controlled by plastic card, which did not work. Informed front desk of the problem, who assured us it was a battery problem being fixed, but when we went back other people's keys were working.... More
