+ verandah was cozy, good music, continental breakfast was incredibly good (fruit platter was huge, french bread was warm and soft, the OJ was freshly squeezed) - room's decor was creepy, very old air con unit - could not even set temperature, no hot water at that time

I spent a day and a night at this hotel. A few things will stand out to anyone who has made it as far as Padang, Sumatra, Indonesia. One, the hotel has style and charm, a boutique in every sense.
