Imperial Aryaduta Makassar is the only 5-star hotel in Makassar. In my opinion, this hotel should do more for 5-star hotel reputation. Location is good, facing the ocean, and in the city central. But, all things in this hotel looks tired. Breakfast not special. Cigarette smoke everywhere in air conditioned lobby. Again, not many choice in Makassar if you want... more

Until 2002 I found this hotel still good, but after that getting worse. The famous barbeque in town is no more to find, very bad now, the food in Bellini also so tasteless. The cake in the cafe is no more OK, the slow service in reception and cafe. Very big pitty. more

we have just returned from a 5 days at the imperial aryaduta hotel. hotel itself is peaceful and without the often irritating loud "background" music. check-in is fast and efficient with a pleasant welcome drink. upon arrival luggage is taken immediately inside and we were welcomed with a warm smile. the staff is very welcoming which came across to us... more

It was the third time I stayed in this hotel. It is quite nice. The service is good, the facilities are not bad at all and the F&B outlets are very nice.
