I, infact we loved our stay in Angsana. Besides the beach, pool & other facilities, we loved the dining areas. To be specific Banayan Tree's restaurant Treetops is not to be missed at all.

I have stayed in most of the properties on Bintan Island and chose to stay at Angsana only because it had a shuttle service to the Bintan triathlon event at Nirwana resort which was fully booked. All staff and manager especially were very nice and warm however I do not pay top dollar so that people are nice to me.... More

Now, it may have been because we stayed over the Triathalon weekend, but at US$ 289 per night (not including the extra 23% plus plus), the Angsana wasn't quite up to the standard we were expecting. It's a smallish hotel compared to the Nusa Dua resorts in Bali and their ilk. Not shabby by any means, but it certainly wasn't... More

We are here because Nirwana Gardens next door, where the triathlon is held was full. The rooms are small, the fan noisy, tv reception poor. Yesterday, we went for dinner at the beach grill. Very friendly personnel, once you get their attention. They were out of chicken! The butter was rancid. There is more fruit variety on a breakfast spread... More

Dear Trilife, On behalf of the Angsana Bintan team thank you for taking the time to share your comments at trip advisor on your recent stay at the resort. We are disappointed that the overall experience did not meet your expectation. Regarding the fan noisy & TV reception. Our chief engineer and his team have been instructed to rectify the... More

Our room is spacious, well-lit and fitted with nice furnishing. We booked the suite facing beach thus there is 1 master bedroom and another twin bed bedroom. The lounger in the living room is v comfortable. TV channels are sufficient wit the int'l and local channels however reception is sometimes spotty. Wifi quality is very bad. The signal is weak... We went to Angsana Bintan to get away from it all - we have our own business and need to totally de-stress a couple of times a year. We got what we hoped for, and more: relaxed to the max, great food, quality rooms and pampering. We stayed a week and at times it seemed as though we had the... More

I really can't fault the hotel. They were incredible from the moment we arrived to when we left. As soon as we arrived at the ferry terminal they whisked our luggage away and seated us while we waited for the transfer service which arrived in minutes. The hotel staff were lovely giving us complimentary drinks while we checked in. The... More

We stopped over here for 4 days en-route back from Sydney to London. We thoroughly enjoyed it - the rooms and facilities were perfect for us. We enjoyed the food which we thought very good indeed. The beach and the sea were fantastic and (at least at the time we were there) always a sun-lounger available under a thatched shade.... More
