For a short or long stay, Grand Candi is the place to be. The staff are courteous and solicitous. They are mostly English speakers, unlike the other hotels where one can easily get lost in translation. The buffet is the best. The Tuesday live music at the lounge, the best! Grand Candi is supposed to be the luxury hotel in Semarang. I have been staying at the hotel and impressed by the service and convenience. However, this time, it was a bit disappointing.
