We had good contact in advance by email with Mary and booked room no.1(upstairs,double bath) 4 months in advance.A one night's deposit using Paypal(41US$) secured the booking, with the balance to be paid in rupiah on arrival.Fine. Shortly prior to our arrival she advised us that she and her husband would not actually be there as they would be in USA... More

This is truly an amazing find in Ubud. If you are looking to get away from the hectic atmosphere of Central Ubud, but still have it within walking distance (5-10mins) for restaurants, Ubud Market shopping etc, then this is the perfect place. Very serene and relaxing with a beautiful flower garden surrounding you. You wake up to the sounds of... More

Stayed for 2 nights and agree with the previous reviews that this is the place to live at if you want to avoid the little city's hustle and bustle, and if you can get by without wifi. Although cars and taxis cannot access this B&B, it is still possible (though a challenge) to ride a motorbike in and out as... More

Have just returned from our 3rd trip to Ubud and Sawah Sunrise in 2 yrs. We would not think of staying anywhere else. Its peaceful and away from the busy main area. The noises of nature make it more enjoyable. We enjoy the walk as you see so much going on around the area. Also see the many frogs and at... More

I just spent 3 great nights at Sawah Sunrise. It was idyllic set amid the rice paddies, on the path out to Sari Organic restaurant (which is wonderful). Mary and staff were all really friendly. This is a great place to simply kick-back and chill. Breakfasts are delish (I am now addicted to banana pancakes) and the sound of nature... More

I stayed one night here because sadly it's all that was free. They have 4 rooms and seemed to be quite busy even in the low season so get in quick - it's worth it! The rate was really cheap and the room was great - comfortable clean and lovely views of the rice fields. The management were really responsive... More

Love the place, it's tucked right in the middle of paddy fields. The rooms are nice and super clean with Balinese flourishes here and there. The barking, quacking, crowing and chirping noises are okay by us, add a whole new dimension to our experience. Breakfast is delicious and adequate. Location is a little out of the way but not difficult... More

What a wonderful B&B this was. The location was absolutely beautiful, you wake up to a view of rice paddies, families of ducks waddling about, local workers on the field. As other reviews have mentioned, the sounds of nature are quite loud and may wake you up, but this was no problem for us, in fact it was part of... More

Stayed here for severeal night. Guesthouse is a little out of town and not accessible by car. So it`s a 15min walk to the restaurants etc. Location is in the middle of rice paddies and you can just stroll through the paddies - wonderful! The rooms are nice, as was the breakfast. Very helfpful staff! Only drawback were some flies,... More

This is the best accommodation we experienced in Bali. you can walk to a great spa (cantika) and organic restaurant (sari organic) with wonderful views of rice paddies. it is a little bit off the beaten path from the hustle and bustle which we found to be a bonus. Bed is comfortable and room is really clean. spending a little... More
