This place is absolutely fine. The rooms are fine, they have air con, the beds are comfortable and the place is clean. The owner came up to me every day and made very sure that all was well. This hotel has been subject to some negative reviews on TA and they are not warranted. There were no cleanlieness issues and... More

Great location in a beautiful setting with a gorgeous pool. Staff are LOVELY. Totally helpful and did not find them pushy at all other than to ask me how my day was and when they could clean the room. Its a super nice family running this place and rooms are clean, large and with hot water and air con (at... More

The checkin was probably the most pleasant of my experience at Dewa. The Pool and surroundings are quite pretty, but the staff constantly inquires about your plans while trying to sell you something to do in the area. I generally want to ask for something, not have it shoved in my face 5 times in 10 minutes. I found a... More

Good location in the centre of Ubud. If you dont like an early rise, I would avoid. Buy some ear plugs before you arrive as the cockerels will wake you! Clean pool and gardens, but the rooms could use a little work. Breakfast was questionable, banana pancake good, but other than that there isn't much else.

Room is not very clean. "Fresh" towels were sometimes smelly. There are only one sheet on the bed and one questionable blanket, which I am not sure if they wash after previous guest. Breakfast is brought to your room, and it was fine. Somehow straws were always dirty. Internet in room was handy, but sometimes not working. (they said "heavy... More

Check in? Quick Pool? Lovely. It was very clean and great temperature? Breakfast? Decent. Rooms? Ok. But dirty. The bed felt extremely dirty and there was sand in it from previous people. Yuck. The check in/reception area was being done up so there was always someone with a power drill and mess everywhere.. The main problem I had were the... More

We stayed in an upstairs rear room (second floor), great views and very light, windowed room, was great but required block out curtains. The balcony overlooked Ubud life, chickens, gardens and other bunglows. Room clean, but required fly screen on bathroom window. Pool clean, garden small but sufficient, we are not pool people. Breakfast was very basic, pancakes ok, eggs... More

This was my first stop in Ubud. It is right off of the main road, so the location is great. The staff are super friendly. I left my camera in the taxi and Mikki helped me located the driver and get my camera back. He also called a driver for me the next day. The staff is great, very friendly,... More

During our 4-week trip to Bali and Lombok in August/September 2011 we stayed two nights in Dewa Bungalows. We had a room with a rally nice view over Ubud, but the room/bathroom wasn’t very clean. It’s in the centre of Ubud, so you can easily walk around to Monkey Forest (we didn’t like it because of the aggressive monkeys), the... More
