The people here are so nice. I stayed in the budget room which was on the top floor so furthest away from the cockerals! still could hear them - so if that bothers you dont stay. the budget room which is 150rp per night is brilliant as long as no one is in the room next door - check first... More

We jumped out of a taxi in the rain out the front of this hotel and ran inside thinking we would wait till it stopped raining and then sgtart our search for a Hotel . We did have a quick look around but ended up staying here for 2 nights . Big spacious rooms that were quiet and well priced... More

We came as a hotel guest but we left as friends of the hotel. The General Manager, Mr Manik and his restuarant supervisor, Ms Putu have been excellent host and made our stay so much more interesting and pleasant. Their staff are very sincerely friendly. They are long time resident of Ubud and Putu herself grew up in Ubud. Her... More

We were looking for a place to stay for about a month in Ubud. Our driver, Pak Nyoman, recommended that we stay at Nuriani Guesthouse, which is family run. The manager, Pak Manik, took us to visit the recently opened new bedrooms - these delightful 3 bedrooms are located above the Nuriani's Bar and Restaurant, strategically located in Padang Tegal.... The charismatic guesthouse Nuriani was my first stop on my first trip to Indonesia. On a hindsight it might've been smarter to get a more luxurious room with airconditioning (which are available, but were all occupied at the time) after the long trip to Bali and culture/climate shock. Nevertheless the standard room was cozy, had a decent bed, and a... More

When I went to Ubud I was booked into the Panorama hotel which to say the least was terrible. I won't even mention what they called breakfast as it was almost too small to see what I was eating not to mention overcooked. I moved to the Nuriani after eating at the restaurant and meeting the friendly staff. The food... More

The room was dirty (walls and the bathroom ceiling had cobwebs with filth trapped in them), poorly lit at night (2 30 watt bulbs made it impossible to read or do anything in the room), and was insanely noisy (every morning at 5:30 am to 12:00 midnight there was constant traffic and honking outside my window). Most of the staff... More

We were very surprised to see the guesthouse with his friendly staff. By staying there you get a real idea about daily balinese life. You see the offering in the housetemple and sometimes you hear the young boys playing the gamelan. We also watched the girls of the family practising balinese dance. We had a very good room, clean and... More
