We recently had a 3 night stay in LadyBamboo Villas. Overall, it was a reasonable experience, however I am doubtful that I would return. We booked the riverside suite based on the photos on the website and we were hoping for a nice secluded room. The personal terrace is a nice place to relax away from other guests if you... More

LadyBamboo has the feel of a homestay - but the privacy of a boutique hotel. Reki, Lambert and staff were so accommodating and helpful. Our room was near the dining area and the pool but clever gardening meant we always had our privacy even sitting on our veranda. Its location is so central but private to the busy main street.... I just returned from my third trip to Bali to visit family and this was my first stay at Lady Bamboo Villa. I usually stay on Jalan Kajeng because of the quiet atmosphere removed from the busy chaos of Jalan Raya. The setback entrance to Lady Bamboo added even more peace and tranquility to the property. Upon entering the villa... More

My family (2 adults & 2 teenagers) stayed at the Lady Bamboo Villa 24 - 26 January 2012. We had two beautiful rooms at the back of the property, overlooking the river. This place is so peaceful and tranquil, we did not want to leave. We were sorry that we only had two days here. All the staff were great,... More

We stayed there with our 1.5 year old daughter for 5 nights. The compound is quite cosy and tranquil, they told us they prefer not to have families with small children staying there. I did not appreciate that first, but when we were there I could understand. Our room was at one end of the compound, the little restaurant with... More

I spent 4 days in Ubud and found the Lady Bamboo Villa to be excellent value for money and in a great location to all that Ubud has to offer. Breakfast and afternoon teas were absolutely delicious and all of the staff were very friendly and helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed Reki's cooking class and found it, in comparison to other... More

We arrived at LadyBamboo from the Gili Islands and were surprised and pleased to find a quite, secluded, and beautifally kept up small hotel almost in the center of the city of Ubud. Our spateous room was adequate for a family of four with a lovey terrace at the back looking out into typical Bali jungle. The staff was very... More

This by far one of the nicest and coziest places I have ever stayed in during my travels, its the ideal guesthouse if you are traveling alone. Why? Because Reki and her husband make you feel like home instantly. Its amazing, I stayed here for only 10 days and I loved every second of it, didn't want to leave! Will... More

LadyBamboo was a great little villa, the staff were friendly and helpful and the food was good. It is located on Jl Kajeng which in my opinion is one of the cutest streets in Ubud. Every morning before breakfast we would walk up to the end of Jl Kajeng and into the rice fields, truly lovely! I traveled with two... More

Stayed at LadyBamboo for 10 days at the beginning of October, including 4 days at the Ubud Writers and Readers Festival. Despite me getting my bookings all wrong Reki fixed everything, made helpful suggestions about which rooms we might prefer and catered for a late addition to our party. The premises itself is private, so close to the centre of... More
