Sri Sunari is visiting your uncle's home in the heart of Bali. Located just a tiny ride away from Ubud's center, you are greeted by the well educated and grateful family of the owner, who live right there and you are treated very authentically. This family owns the Wild Ginger restaurant, which along with Batan Waru is probably the best... More

Pros: friendly staff at your service at all times; complimentary breakfast; clean rooms. Room on the second floor is key for both privacy and a beautiful view of Bali. Potential cons: Sri Sunari is not in the heart of Ubud; its about a 15 minute walk to the city center. The walk from Sri Sunari to Ubud is on a... More

As per a previous reviewer, this is a hard review to write. Given my expectations are never high with accommodation, I really struggled to find the ambience like other reviewers at this home stay, the staff do go out of their way to help but they also struggle with even the basics of English. Not that this really bothers us... More

We stayed at Sri Sunari for five nights, extending our original booking. This guest house is set off the road and is beautiful with a large open deck looking out on to the rice fields. The deck and room provided a large space for us to enjoy our morning breakfasts. The staff are extrememly attentive and we felt like family.... More

Firstly want to mention the fantastic hospitality from Nypmans staff members. Two young men and two young girls. Always there to help answer any questions, always happy and smiling, very polite and interesting to talk with. Yes they can speak English and if they dont understand they are quick to get one of the others and work it out! The... More

We stayed in Sri Sunari for 5 nights at the end of October. The guest house is beautifully built with nice landscaping and a relaxing pool to dip in at the end of a long day of exploring around Ubud. All of the four rooms are airy, spacious, and beautifully appointed, but the upstairs rooms do provide a measure of... More

I have to say I had a hard time writing this review. I wanted to be completely honest, so everyone has a good picture of what its like. I stayed for 10 the end of September. I am a single woman. Nyoman picked me up at the airport. It is more expensive than if you were to get a taxi... More

My wife and I stayed a week at Sri Sunari and thought it was lovely. Located a little way out of the centre of Ubud (about a 15 min walk or a couple of minutes by car or scooter). There were only 4 rooms two up and two down each with its own balcony or patio. Breakfast came with the... More

My Partner and I stayed at Sri Sunari at the beginning of October for two nights. Our room on the ground floor was lovely, very large, with a nice big comfortable bed. Sri Sunari has a relaxed feel and, as it is just outside of the main centre in Ubud, it is peaceful and quiet. The Manager and tour guide... More
