The lodge is in a very peaceful location, surrounded by vast grounds. The rooms are quite basic, but comfortable and large. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious and included one of the best pots of coffee we had while in Bali. One night we went for the set dinner menu and were very pleasantly surprised with a simple, but absolutely... More

We stayed at this lovely little hotel as we journeyed around Indonesia. We used it as our base as we needed to go in and out of Denpasar to get to the remote islands. The rooms are a nice size with great AC and VERY quiet. Maybe 15 minutes from the airport in a very quiet part of town. The... More

A lovely place to stay. The staff and the owners Meryll and Alan Wilson could not have made us any more welcome. The food was excellent and the atmosphere peaceful, after the more popular tourist centres. Jimbaran beach also well worth a visit, beautiful. Thank you so much to the Wilsons. Having visited the other eco lodges that they are... More

Udayana was like a little oasis at the end of our trip across Java and Bali. Set in beautiful gardens with a beautiful pool hiding beyond the trees, this is a quiet retreat perfect for a relaxing break. Staff are very helpful, and if you want to plan adventures they’ve got some great advice. It’s only 30 mins walk to... More

it was the best hotel during one month in Bali between 16 hotels tested in this country it looks like a green island in the town so you need a car or a scooter to go in the center or to the beach this is the reason why you can feel the nature especially during the night with a lot... More

Wonderful place with friendly staff. Small hotel with only 10 rooms. Staff are friendly, but don't ask reception to arrange trips or taxis: they ask twice the amount you really need to pay. For the rest , ever so kind, we could keep the room until 15.00 hours, and had a drop-off to the airport. More

Staying at the Eco Lodges was made very easy as they met us at the airport and arranged flights, excursions, guides and drivers. The three lodges we stayed at were clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly, the meals were good. I liked the honesty system for the bar in Bali and Flores. I also was great full to be... More

My husband and I recently spent some time in Indonesia with our adult daughter, a graduate student in evolutionary biology. We stayed at 3 of the ecolodges run by Ecolodges Indonesia -- with the intent to see orangutans and Komodo dragons. We were NOT disappointed, having seen lots of both species! All 3 of the lodges -- Rimba Lodge, Udayana... More

We only stayed one night here on our way to Flores but the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. It is close to the airport but you wouldn't know it as it is hidden in the hills on the way to Uluwata. The rooms are spacious, the beds comfortable and the food good. It is a great location to visit... More

Not only did we stay at Kingfisher Lodge but also at Rimba Lodge in Kalimantan and Bajo Lodge in Flores, all part of the same group. At each of the lodges we were made to feel welcome by the friendly staff - they made us feel like part of the family. We went on several tours organised by the lodges... More
