The service at this hotel is second to none. Beautiful extensive grounds spread over a massive area. The private beach is stunning and secluded if you don't mind the 100+ steps down to it!! I have been traveling extensively in asia and I can name at least 10 other better resorts just in bali alone -- if you can afford it go to amankila (or similar) where you will not see bus-loads of tourists or large wedding parties as you do at ayana -- the hotel has beautiful grounds, nice setting and fairly well-appointed... more

Stayed at Ayana for 14nights and all i want to say it utterly divine in every possible way! the staff are amazing, the place is amazing too! the only think i didn't like where the steps to the beach and the water was so rough that we couldn't swim safely. totally reccomended. more
