We checked into The Ambassador Hotel, with reasonable expectations, given some photos we had seen of the hotel on the net. The hotel is well loctaed on Rajpur Road, but occupies the second floor of an old, shabby building.

When one comes out of the filthy, dilapidated lifts, one steps into an uninviting lobby. The rooms are down a long, dimly lit corridor. Some of the rooms are old and run-down, while some have been refurbished. The suite that we stayed in was awful. The geyser pipes were leaking, the bathroom was constantly a mess.

Since the hotel was sparsely occupied, we were given the key to another room for a day, and we had to trudge down the long, dimly-lit corridor to use the toilet. On the second day that we were there, the plumber and electrician were constantly in and out of our room. It was a mess. The room service boy was bringing us buckets of hot water to bathe with.

I simply checked in this hotel looking at its location, which i found the most centrally located.

Once i checked in, i was delighted by the warmth i got from the staff. Even the owner Mr. Rahul Windlass takes lots of pain to give the best services to his guests.

The food quality is very upto mark and is very reasonable

I wish all the best to Hotel Ambassador's team and wish them all the success in future and request them to keepup the good work they have been doing

I strongly recommend everyone to have a visit to Hotel Ambassador, Dehra Dun More
