Nice calm place. Perfect to relax after the very busy and chaotic ghats and the vity altogether. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good food service with real nice Thali. Clean and good rooms around a courtjard. would definitely stay there again.

I will not comment more..because it will be simple words to describe teerth 's simplicity. A nice clean healthy place to stay. Enjoy the service and helping nature of staff. They truely care for matters affecting you.
this place is simple and calm. you will find simple staff and everything simple. But their consistent help and supports in business that suits hospitality is excellent. Staff are very friendly and obey things as instructed to them. They sometimes do extra work that is not part of their service just for our hospitality and well being.
Teerth House was a good place to stay in Varanasi . Its not easy to find, but worth it when you do.The staff there were so sweet, and the room was clean and had hot water.
Its tucked away in an alley which makes it a quiet spot off the street, very close to good food, shopping and of course...

The people who work there are so kind and helpful. The place itself is relatively clean and amazing value for the price. They're buddies with Alka, so if you need directions, ask them or ask for Yogi Lodge - its right by there. Otherwise, it's kind of hard to find.
I arrived in Varanasi from Kolkata on an overnight train and needed to run the gauntlet of seriously crowded and narrow alleyways that were jam packed with Kumbha Mehla pilgrims. Unfortunately my wallet got lifted, which I discovered shortly after checking in. Panic ensued and these guys at the hotel, in particular the manager and his assistant bent over backwards...

I was quite skeptical about my stay at Varanasi given that I was travelling alone and having heard of its legendary reputation!
But Teerth guest house made the experience just amazing!
I requested for pick up from Mughal sarai station, which I felt was a bit pricy, @ 650 rs for a mere 23 kms. But someone from the hotel...

Located right in the heart of Varanasi's alleyways near Meer (Main) Ghat. We stayed one night in the Rs.600 double room with bath and three nights in the Rs.350 double room with shared bath. The cheaper room is just as good as the more expensive. Quality of care fantastic. Rooms are very simple and clean. It's a nice quiet guesthouse...

We came to Teerth after a horrible bus ride from Pokhara, Nepal. I'd sent an email through just before we left but didn't have time to check back to see if the booking was confirmed. The room was waiting for us on arrival. It was comfortable, clean and the right kind of room for the price. The manager was friendly...

We stayed in Teerth guest in DEC. 2012 for 2 nights in an a/c room. The room had its own balcony overlooking the Gagnes and was very clean and excellent value. The bathroom was also fine with reliable hot shower. The food was good and Amy and I can recommend the banana pancakes or the paratha for breakfast.
