Stayed at Mishra gh for a week. Staff is very helpful and will arrange you all you might need in Varanasi. Location is great, next to the river ganga and main burning ghat. Arrange pick-up from the bus-/train station, since it i very difficult to navigate near the ghats. Restaurant upstairs server delicious food at reasonable prices. Recommended!

We stayed here three nights and loved it. There's a great view of the Ganges from the rooftop restaurant and the rooms are clean. We definitely recommend using the local guide provided by the guesthouse. He's a nice elderly man who speaks great English and provides interesting information on the ghats and temples.
