A quite new hotel just 5 minute walk from assi gath! A calm area compared to the old city. Clean rooms with clean toilet, hot water 1 of 2 times in the shower! Staff was friendly and you can get tea and coffe in the lobby while using the free wifi (that's not very fast though).

Reading other reviews I guess I've been lucky. Paid 600rps for a double room, it's clean, hot water 24h, free wifi (turned off after 11pm). Stayed 3 days, there might be better options but I needed a parking for my bike, and Haifa was much more expensive.

we stayed in this hotel during 6th-10th december. we enjoyed stay at hotel ganesha. the rooms are very clean the staff is very cooperative. the hotel is near assi ghat and also Banaras hindu University.well connected to major locations of varanasi. good internet facilities were provided during our stay. 24hrs hot water is available. Quiet, clean and cheap, this was ideal for us (7 students). Away from the main ghats, it is situated at the very last/first ghat which we greatly preferred as it was very crowded near the main ghats. Free wifi (if u have a laptop, iPhone etc) or pay to use the computer and Internet.

The rooms are very clean and with a good bathroom. The location is great, and the staff staff is very helpful.
