We felt very uncomfortable in this hotel. For the price 1500 INR per night we expected more than just basic room. But that was not the main problem. The stuff was not helpful at all. In addition to that the manager was constantly chasing us to spent more money on services he gets provision for and to go to his... More

We stayed for 4 nights at the Leela...The room was small, but clean with hot water shower and clean sheets....the room had a balcony with a very nice view of the ganges river..the hotel is very convenient to eating and walking along the ghats...Rajesh arranged a pickup for us at the train station and the man was waiting for us... More

We spent 8 days at the Leela Guest House in Varanasi in. It was basic great. You cannot beat the central location on the Ghats. The owner is a marvelous gentleman. i came into booking this one because almost all other entry-level guesthouses failed to reply to my emails. usually i wasn;t looking at very basic accomodation. this is a basic place for a backpacker stay. so i really mean basic. and expect a bed and a shower and thats it. on functionality, it suits both of these purposes well. it...
