Great basic hotel near the south gate of Taj Mahal (walking distance to all gates). Room was very updated. Nice view from rooftop terrace (restaurant is downstairs).

The ONLY bright spot is that, it is very near to the Taj! You even see the Taj from the Rooftop. Otherwise, you have very little to choose from, noisy, not-so-great food, room service not good.... Firstly, don't have too high expectations towards Taj Ganj (and Agra in general) - it is quite clear that the only reason people stay there overnight is to be close to the Taj, which matters especially, if you want to visit it at sunrise. The hotel is very near the south gate. We stayed for one night for 1000RM room No.006. It's clean and comfortable with hot water. We like it. It has rooftop restarant. We can sit on the roof to see Taiji Marhal.

Everyone told us Agra was a dump so the room was what we expected. Dust a cm thick everywhere, broken tiles all of the bathroom and one tap didn't work.
