Madurai was wonderful and I really enjoyed it. I have stayed in several ITDC hotels and have found them to be good value, though perhaps a little tired in appearance. The room was smallish, but adequate and clean. As usual in indian hotels, the staff could not be helpful enough.

The smell of sambhar filled our nostrils the minute we entered the place. The location was good. Right in the heart of the town. True to any ITDC hotel it was value for money.
