This was a decent budget hotel with a friendly staff. The room was basic and clean though the bathroom was quite grungy and rundown. The restaurant opposite was great overlooking Fatehsagar Lake. The location was close to city attractions.

Friendly staff, nice location near lake, great restaurant with very good food. Room was spacious and clean. Shower was ok, not great. Not far from city attractions by car. Breakfast was good.

Our expectations were not great but room was lovely, beds were the most comfotable we had in Rajesthan and the lake view was lovely - our rooms were on the rooftop and we sat outside and watched the sunset. Breakfast was good too.

We were given a free upgrade to a lake view room, which was great. It was clean and spacious. One of the negatives is the noise - the room is next to a busy road so ambient sounds are a problem. Two nights in this exotic looking hotel that we could not stop photographing. Our room comfortable and spacious overlooking the restaurant and the lake. Breakfast buffet good, staff helpful. Enjoyed dinner in the romantic lakeside restaurant. Otherwise no service frills.

The Ram Pratap is a lovely hotel on Fateh Sagar Lake. Our room was bright, spacious, attractively furnished, and clean. Well maintained hotel with courteous and helpful staff, particularly Mr Sammer in the front desk. He suggested correct transportation for sight seeing and arranged too. Super hotel on the shores of one of the lakes, out of teh main hustle and bustle of the city and the main attractions of Udaipur. Great views and I gather the best restaurant in the city, in the gardens by the water and the food and was excellent.
