Who say's money can get you anything? It certainly didnt get me a respectful treatment. At the ticket counters i am told that i can spend some time at the island, and can stay back as late as 11 pm. Well...there is no doubt that the property is very well maintained and its very pretty to look at, but if you're an Indian please don't expect any service or anyone to serve you even of you have the money to pay for it. We didn't stay at the Jag Mandir palace hotel but took the ferry ride to it from City Palace. We stopped there for about an hour or so. The location and the palace itself are beautiful. We took a stroll around the place and sat down for drinks before taking the ferry back. Recommend it for a day trip.
