We ( http://10yearitch.com ) stopped at Mamta Resorts on our way to Gurgaon.
It's right off NH8, between Udaipur and Nathdwara.

Don't go by the images/info on the website - They have applied a lot of 'lipstick' :)
Pros:
a) Very large spacious rooms
b) Dog Friendly (no extra charge)
c) Large lawn area
d) Gated car park
e) Right off NH8
Cons:
a) Very old rooms (broken tiles, leaky faucets, old plumbing etc)
c) Lazy staff :) had to keep pushing them to get stuff done (getting the a/c to work etc)
d) Awful decor (had a laugh when i read "Mediterranean-inspired furniture" on their website)
I'd recommend this place only if you are travelling with a dog.
Your pooch might give this place 4 out 5 'paws' :)
In any case, check the rooms before you decide and don't pay more than INR1200.
