I really enjoyed my stay at Udai Niwas, all the staff were incredibly helpfull, especially the owner Muna. It was very central and close to the Palace and Jagdish Temple, had beautifully painted rooms that were a pleasure to stay in and had a great rooftop restaurant.

We arrived with our group from Intrepid Travel in Udaipur. We enjoyed the room as it was clean and had hot water. The staff gave us more blankets as it can get quite chilly at night. I arrived freezing and exhausted at 5.30 am after a 16 hour bus journey from Jaisalmer - think twice before you do that!!! - and the staff at Udai Niwas could not have been more helpful!
