This review could easily turn into a rant, so i'm just going to present the facts. Please don't stay here. 1) We arrived from a late train, and reached the hotel at 11pm. Due to a storm, the hotel was running on a generator which, as is common in India, meant that the a/c wasn't operating. We were assured that... More

This property is very well located right on the main road (unlike others which are deep inside) and just 5 minutes drive from the Sawai Madhopur Railway station. Hence, you do not have to hire jeeps to go out and buy stuff like water, crisps etc. Nice cottage rooms with all standard amenities, good neat & clean swimming pool, beautiful... More

We had a superior room which was well worth it, it was a lovely big room with tea/coffee making facilities, tv and fridge and a nice bathroom. The pool was lovely and clean and towels were provided, the gardens were nice. We were served food on the first night from a buffet but the next night we chose from the... More

We booked on agoda from overseas and as we're backpacking this was meant to be a treat for us, paying nearly 3 times out budget a night! When we arrived the power was out a problem that you can expect constantly during your stay, we got to the room it was hot as hell because of the power. And full... More

Dark stuffing room, very noisy fan, I don't even remember the bathroom. The garden was lovely the staff was nice, the food other the breakfast was well enough. Breakfast was a disaster, they were not serving before safari and the buffet eggs, and toast were cold after... I gave up. I understood they had wifi, because the system was down... More

We loved this place. We had just come from Varanasi and Agra staying in quite basic guesthouses so it was a real treat to come to Raj Palace which is a smart, clean, well run resort. Our room was gorgeous with a really modern bathrooom. The pool was clean and quiet with towels provided. The restuarant was excellent - I... More

Typical hotel in this category. Older hotel with a beautigul design and many unique architectural features. Unlike several reviews, we found the staff very friendly. The manager was always there to meet us, to ask about our safari, to see pictures, and to make sure we did not need anything. Staff always responded to our requests and needs. Rooms were... More

We visited with the Intrepid group for a tiger safari and coincidently it was the Holi festival when the local people celebrate by throwing colored powder over eachother and anyone who happens to be in the vicinity. We joined in the fun and the hotel management provided some free beverages and nibbles, a party room and music so we could... More

Pleasant grounds with good location. These were the good points. No wireless connection as stated. One computer in back office behind the hotel reception with Internet at extortionate rates. Electricity intermittent, had to move rooms the first morning as the builders were in and the staff checking us in hadn't the sense to put us in one of the many... More

We had a great time staying here with my family. The resort was perfect, with lovely, friendly and welcoming staff and great food in the restaurant. The staff went the extra mile to make our stay perfect. The Safari's were brilliant, we saw 3 tigers and even a Leopard!! We cannot wait to come back. The pool was also very... More
