This hotel is truly fantastic. My girlfriend and I stopped here during out 3 week tour of Indian and this was by far our favourite stop, our only regret is that we only stopped here for one night. The palace itself is one of a kind and it feels like you are sampling a piece of history. The staff trained... More

When you visit India you have got to stay at least 1 night in a palace. This is the one to choose! Driving through the village with the narrow streets before reaching the hotel was quite an adventure. We had a very comfortable suite room with a huge bathroom. A pity we didn’t have a balcony as some other rooms... More

Deogarh is à nice Indian village but at THE top there is the castle. Very big rooms and high service. It makes you feel that you are THE Maharadja yourself

From the drum roll on our arrival this is the most intereting hotel we have ever stayed in.(considering we had just come from the Oberoi,Aga). It really is and still feels like a lovely old palace.Rooms excellent.Huge bathroom, large bedroom with balcony and sitting room ,with another balcony ,that was on outside of castle, allowing viewsl over the countryside.Monkeys playing in the... We enjoyed every minute of our twoday stay. The hotel is amazing, the service excellent ( which is not normally the case) and the food was just perfect. The only criticism I have is with the front desk. The promised horseriding was not possible any more (but is still advertised on the web site and room brochures), so my kids... More

We stayed here for several days with another couple - since then I have had two more wonderful trips to India, but can't top Deogarh Mahal. It is wonderfully located in a small and interesting town, and the horesback ride through other villages is a treasured memory. It was a delight to explore with the kind help of staff and... More

We spent 2 nights here. At first I thought this was too much, but we had no trouble filling in the time. The management arranged a cooking class for us, we wandered through the village, and we spent quite a bit of time just exploring the palace. There are so many little stairways and corridors that it is fascinating. The... More

Outstanding palace with garden and pool. Comfortable room & ensuite bathroom. Small radiation heater. Delicious food served at the table. Very special way of dining... Evening dances. Fine cocktails. Close to little shops. Also close to the temples of Eklingji and Nagda. Stay there. Marlène and Guido, Gent, Belgium

Please have a read of the following article- the links attacked. Went to attend the wedding of a close friend and a prominent model from new york- Anjhula Mya Bais and this is what we had to face. http://articles.timesofindia.indiatimes.com/2011-06-27/jaipur/29708362_1_rajasthan-police-post-wedding-plans-complaint Avoid the hotel in all costs- the management is strange ..yes strange and rooms are old dirty and tired too.

I would never have thought of going to Deogarh as it is off the beaten path. My friend who's a tourist guide recommended it saying it would be a memorable experience. Reached deogarh Mahal by road from Udaipur. Right from the welcome it was a royal experience. It is the residence of the local royalty converted into heritage hotel managed... More
