WHAT A FIND !!! THE BLUE HOUSE GUEST HOUSE💙 After having such a wonderful time in Pushkar we didn’t think our holiday in Rajasthan could get any better until… The Blue Hotel in Jodhpur. What a FANTASTIC find 💙 The hotel is nusteld away down a narrow path in the centre of the Blue City. 16 guests rooms all with the most beautifully painted walls and ceilings . A breathtaking view of the fort from the roof top terrace. The lovely Needu was here to greet us on arrival and couldn’t have been more friendly and accommodating . Our room is at the top of the Blue Hotel so our views are stunning . The blue Hotel and Needu has met our every need and more. Just to top things off Needu is fantastic at henna painting .. I’m currently sat having my feet pained . I CAN HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS GUEST HOUSE 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟

Landed there in an emergency situation after we had a flop show at the originally-booked hotel which looked and felt nothing like the pictures. The lady at the counter showed little sympathy and charged double the price for their worst room and never offered any bill for the same. I could sense that there were some quiet rooms too but we were given the one in the worst condition since we had little energy left to go check out other places and the owner took advantage of it. There were youngsters screaming and partying on the next terrace, making it even worse since the bed in the room was already making loud noises plus the noisy and faulty bathroom door that wouldn't even close. The bathroom was dark and the water supply was too slow. We spent the whole night killing time outside the room as there was no way we could sleep in there. There was nobody to help at any time. The staff (one overworked guy) seemed helpless as he responded in half-asleep condition. Since this is a home stay, the owners stay just downstairs. We heard them chatting around 2:30 AM when they came back from wherever they had gone. I highlighted the room's terrible condition and our inability to sleep because of extreme noise and uncomfortable bed, and all he had to offer was a promise to change the room next day. The young guys next door faced similar situation and also decided to cut their stay short as us. The owners showed zero regret the next day too and charged us the full amount of already-exaggerated price for a whole day's stay in exchange for 12 hours of sitting and killing time in the terrace area outside the room, but they were particularly nice towards foreigners offering them their quieter and better maintained rooms, of course, at prices an Indian would never pay them given the pathetic conditions. I also saw one lady (from the host family) harassing Indian guests and forcing them to check out at 9:30 AM. She even came to us trying to sell us a cab service to our next destination which we decided to go to a day before the schedule time because of such horrible hotel experience, apparently they wanted to earn more from us by earning commission on cab bookings. Such businesses bring a shame to good cities forcing tourists to form an adverse opinion about locals and never return. Please don't loot tourists.

We had to find a place to stay short notice during a busy travel season. The Blue House welcomed us warmly. The hosts went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and moved us to the upstairs room with the amazing voew our second night there. The house is 450 years old and has the lovely characteristics of a house in Jodhpur. Breakfast is lovely- specifically the aloo parantha and chai.

Really lovely stay at The Blue House, Jodhpur. The family that owns/runs the haveli is very kind and welcoming. It's a really incredible historic building and we booked the Jhankar temple suite - which is entirely carved in stone (even the bed frame!) It's not SUPER luxurious, but a very charming / comfortable stay. It's up a few flights of stairs, but worth it for the view of the fort from the little balcony. The only negative was that there wasn't any toilet paper when we arrived - I know that's actually really common in public bathrooms in India (so we were carrying packs of tissue anyway) but seemed a bit odd in a "hotel"-type environment. (No idea if that was just an oversight or their usual policy) just thought it was worth giving other travellers a head-up incase that's a regular occurance! Note that it's on a very small street, so taxis can't get you there, but will take you to a nearby square where you can jump in a Tuk Tuk (or walk, depending on your fitness level/luggage load!) But this is REALLY normal/standard all over India!

Owner told us a story about a mouse then sold us a rickshaw!! Terrible experience make sure you stay away at all costs. We were all violently ill although that was probably down to the fact we were in India rather than this specific hostel but it can't be ruled out!

We had a great stay at "The Blue House" and felt at home. The host family as well as all team members were incredibly kind, honest, helpful and warm-hearted. The terrace was very beautiful, the room met our expectations, the food - jain/vegeterian - was nice and my sister loved the henna session. This house is... a work of art. Thank you for this unforgettable time in Jodhpur!

Great restaurant. Has a nice rooftop view perfectly fit for sunset. Food was really delicious. I personally prefer kaju curry. We were served by Ganpat, a really nice guy, he gave us advices and had good talk with him. I strongly suggest visiting this place.
