This was a nice hotel to stay at. Staff were friendly. The rooms were spacious and relatively clean. The beds were a little hard and the pillows were flat. You got 2 sheets on the bed which is always nice so that you aren't against a dirty blanket. We only had breakfasts there which were nothing to write home about.... More

Although in the center of the old town it was a very atmospheric hotel and we got a very spacious room with a big bathroom. The view of the Meherangarh Fort from the top floor restaurant was breathtaking and the vegetarian food was excellent. The access to the Fort although steep was 10 minutes walk. The personnel was friendly.

I am surprised at the great reviews this place is getting. The good points are that the staff are friendly and the location can't be beat. The public areas are pleasant. Our budget room was nothing special The floor was and remained dirty. We could hear everything the staff said at 7AM.

Definitely one of the better places I stayed in India, and certainly good value. The room was clean, nicely decorated and the bed was comfortable.
