Touched down at Airport with the apprehension as to how there can be a hotel by the lake in an arid place like Jodhpur. In fact my preference for this hotel was just for sake of the lake. I was pleasantly surprised when entered the premises of the hotel having a big big lake, well manicured lawn spread over Acres. The contrast of the arid Jodhpur with the big lake with its blooming lotus and hundreds of swans and migratory birds, the pull of the hotel was magnatic and memorable. The entire hotel property is spread over hundreds of Acres and must be more spacious than even the 5 star hotels. The restaurant housed in the separate HAVELI again by the side of the lake gives it a ROYAL AMBIENCE. The hotel also has swimming pool, indoor sports, boating by the lake apart from other basic amenities. Rooms are big and spacious with big balconies/varandah.
My kids (six year & one year) enjoyed the most with the swans, in the lawns and must have thoroughly enjoyed their...
