A hotel in a quiet lane quite close to Umaid Bhavan, the city palace, in Jodhpur. It is in the heart of the city, but nestling in a quiet residential neighborhood. It has a fine appearance with its sandstone facade.
The rooms are big enough and comfortable sofas have been provided. Separated single beds are the default though they can easily be combined with the loss of the wall mounted headboard for one bed as a result. Nice wooden furniture. No rooms have three cots provided and the extra mattress provided on the floor, upon request, was not quite up to the mark.
Toilets are again big enough with warm water supplied from a boiler on the top floor. One has to wait for some cold water to clear before warm water starts coming in. Surprisingly, both the rooms that I availed of had the bathroom floors not properly sloped towards the drain outlet with stagnating water as a result.
