Tucked away down a side street this romantic dolls house sized hotel is a delight! Lovely, nicely decorated room and bathroom with the all important thumbs up for cleanliness. We loved staying inside the fort and the views from the roof are a spectacular backdrop for a cup of Babus famous Masal Chai ( delicious) It was my birthday when... More

The hotel has d best sunset view room in the entire city, the room like most in Jaisalmer is draped in an aura of rajasthani culture, the centerpiece being the jhoola bed.! Full value for money, u'll be how cheap it is.! Very helpful and hospitable staff.! A great stay and a wonderful experience.!

My friend and I were there in October 2011 and I still remember the view from the top roof and the kindness of their staff, a boy called Babu. We really enjoyed the hotel, one of our best nights in India.

Within the fortress walls Monsoon Palace is the perfect place to rest, catch an amazing sunset overlooking the camel stadium, and have a solid night sleep. The haveli has only two rooms with awesome service by Babu (the hotel attendant). The top room is especially nice with lovely furnishings and homey feel. When I was there, I had the top... More

What a find!! Only 2 rooms enabling personal service from babu. He even gave us a masala chai lesson from the little kitchen on the gorgeous rooftop with views to the desert. Loved our stay. Thank you babu. Tim and Kylie.

The hotel is small but it makes it even more precious, right in the middle of the Fort, with a pristine architecture, the rooms are so well decorated and comfortable, perfect bedroom, perfect bathroom with hot shower al the time and... My husband was reluctant to stay somewhere "quirky" but was converted swiftly on arrival. A very warm reception where we parked our car and transferred to an auto up to the fort. Superb helpful people, really welcoming and nice. We were the only guest and were instantly charmed by the bright interiors and the way it was all so well... More

We were recommended this property by a family member in Canada. We were not dissapointed. Babu was very hospitable. Even though there was no restaurant he organized our lunch right on his rooftop which was amazing. The view was also amazing from the rooftop. We were very disappointed by the low quality of food in restaurants however. I agree that... More

It is the second time we come in Monsoon Palace in Jaisalmer. We did not found such pretty rooms nowhere. Very comfortable, with all facilities. Like in a little palace. Well situated, in the citadel, with many lovely people around. But the must is Babu, the young man who managed this place. He organize all we could desire, always with... More
