being a first time backpacker to jaisalmer - rajasthan i was not too sure of the overall experience, a rushed plan and traveling during diwali it all added up to some really painful journeys from mumbai to khuri. to be honest i had decided on khuri (the village and not the guest house) as had read some horror stories about... This was a resort like thing which we visited recently. The manager of this property is quite cunning. None of the package prices are displayed any where in resort. He charges based on customer, charges more to gullible people. The package we took included Dinner, Cultural program, over-night stay in desert (under the stars, he will provide sets of bed... More
