This hotel is very conveniently located. Jaisalmer isn't a big place and it was within easy walking distance from the fort and other places of interest. The room wasn't very big, but the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was OK: no dirty toilet in ours. The staff are very friendly and helpful and although there was one misunderstanding that... Had the pleasure to stay at the Pleasant Haveli for two nights this month. Krishna was very responsive and helpful during my initial enquiries and arranged for a private car pick-up and return to Jodhpur which proved to be a great option at a moderate price. The staff were very helpful and obliging throughout my stay. The Pleasant Haveli is... More

Pleasant Haveli is a very pretty little building close to the centre of a very quaint city. The rooms are beautifully decorated and lack nothing. The staff are excellent, in particular Krishna the manager, who went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure our stay was perfect and that we were able to get the best out of... More

My girlfriend and I stopped in Jaisalmer for two nights as part of a 3 week tour of Rajasthan. Jaisalmer was by far our favourite city during our stay as it has a much more relaxed atmosphere about the place. Hotel Pleasant Haveli is a beautiful hotel, with excellent friendly and efficient staff. The services and drinks are pretty cheap,... More

We were in India for 3 weeks and stayed in a range of hotels ranging from very fancy to very basic and this was by our far our favourite. It is a in the middle of the road option, it looks very new from the outside and is slightly outside of the hub of the town but the room was... More

We spent 4 wonderful nights at this hotel at the beginning of April. We stayed in one of the larger rooms at the front, which could accommodate my family of 4. The youngest (8) slept in the window alcove, but was perfectly comfy. An extra bed was put in for the older son (12). We still had plenty of room.... More

It was 2nd week into our India trip with our 2 teenager children. Although our driver was going to take us to another hotel, but our son was keen to check out the Pleasant Haveli first as it has pretty good rating on tripadvisor. Krishna was on duty, he was very helpful to organise a room big enough to accommodate... More

There is a good reason why this place is ranked #1 on trip advisor. Firstly the building is really nice, it's styled like an old haveli but it's near brand new with nice, clean and spacious rooms and bathrooms. The rooftop restaurant is also great with delicious food and excellent views to the fort. More importantly though, Naru, Krishna and... More

We get to this hotel after reading on trip advisor. It is new techno sand stone house , not a haveli as given name. Our expections were high for this hotel but didn't feel good at all. Service, cleanness is fabulous and well maintained. We wanted to stay in old house with real feeling of haveli and we didn't find... More

Cleanliness, food, service, location and price all perfect. Previous review suggested as rated no 1 should have been more luxurious. Rubbish. The whole point of trip advisor is to surely rate a hotel relative to the price paid for a room, if No. 1 meant luxury only then all those wonderful small characterful hotels, b & b's and homestays would...
