The other reviews for this hotel are pretty much spot on. We were surprised how expensive this hotel was for all that we got. I was OK - clean and functional with pleasant staff. Unlike some other reviewers, I had no issues with noise problems. The building across the street is completed, and is now a shopping mall. The rooms are clean- although the carpet can use upgrade. Bathrooms are clean too. I liked the fact they have power sockets for US equipment. Staff is ok - the reception can use some smile. Stayed in the Sagar Plaza for 1 week in October - an average hotel, but decent location at the end of MG Road and a new "international-style" shopping mall. Would I stay there again?
