I visited this Place on 19th Feb 2011 and I found it Good Place to visit even in Summar. The Food (Veg) quality was really Good. View from Room was Good. Craft activities was small in numbers but i liked it. I would love to visit this place in Rainy Season. Room charges were 900/- Rs. and Food charges 450/-...

Avanti Kalagram is an amazing place to be. Serene, peaceful with beautiful views , waterfall and is definitely a well maintained property. The staff is very courteous and helpful. The food quality is just too good. It has lots of activities like pottery, paper craft, bamboo craft, rain dance and much more. One has to SEE it to BELIEVE it.
Last weekend, my friend from Accenture - Ajay fixed up a plan for visiting Avanti Kalgram. Unware of this place, I did search for the details on internet and found it interesting. But after reading the blog on my trip, I called up Ajay and suggested to change the venue.

We visited this location from Pune and were 3 families with kids. The brochure and pictures are definitely overstated. The view is awesome. Road conditions to this location are horrible. Going from Pune make sure you go through Hinjewadi route instead of going through the Chandni Chowk, Pirangut route.
Food was good not great (all vegetarian).
