“Please avoid this Hotel at all costs!”

This got to be one of the worst hotels in Mumbai, posing to be a "classy hotel". My girl and i booked a room there for 2 nights unknowing what to expect since we wanted a hotel close to the gateway of india and we've read some good things about it from the net (which turned out to be false!).... “Reasonable choice, but watch-out for first-night bait & switch”

My wife and I stayed 3 nights at this hotel upon arrival in India. We had booked a superior room, but upon arrival at 1AM the front desk guy sadly shook his head, said that our superior room had been given to someone else, and that we'd need to spend the first night in a standard room.
