After staying a couple nights on the North cliff of Varkala, we moved to SB Regency. This was on the suggestion of a rickshaw driver, which is usually advised against in guide books. Apart from the stunning views and a position in a more genteel part of Varkala what really makes this place the one to most highly recommend is the friendliness and service given by the owners and staff. We stayed in one of the three very well built and presented bungalows that are the top of the cliff and look directly out on to the ocean. A family run business run by a very welcoming couple.
