Ok, so the room tariffs are not the cheapest. And there aren't beachboys hassling single white women at every corner. There are no ayurvedic treatments within two minutes walk (ten mins, yes). And no handicraft shops within 500 metres. The place is constantly overbooked. Even a confirmed reservation by the owner himself doesn't change that fact. The consequence is that you have to spend your holiday in a concrete prison cell-like building away from the beach. There are a few alternatives on the same beach that you could give a try.
