We have just start for week end. The hotel is actractive and we have never experienced such beautifull service before. It was so lovely that it was hard to drag ourselves away from the hotel to go . I would say this is the best hotel we have ever stayed in on holiday and we are extremely enjoy. more

My husband and I stayed at Somatheeram for 2 nights in a special sea view cottage. We loved the resort - well maintained manicured gardens, cute looking cottages and ready to serve staff. But people who are expecting luxuries of quality chain hotels then this is not the place. The furnitures are very basic and look old and worn out.... more

Somatheeram is fantastic for ayurvedic treatments, we had a totally relaxing and rejuvenating stay there (went in Feb 2005). Excellent detox programme and healthy food. Quite a rustic environment, not a glossy luxury hotel kind of place, so it depends on what you like - we loved our little hut and I spent lots of time snoozing in the hammock... more
