“Choose this if nothing is left...!!!!”

The hotel is cheaper compared to the surrounding hotels & considering the location. Its just 500mtr from the Railway Station with communication to surrounding places are well available. The rooms are very small & dark. Beds are even smaller - the double provided to us was smaller than our household double bed!!!! Food facility is not available & neither is laundry - which posed a great hassle for us during the stay. People are helpful though - and that is one thing I liked about this place. More

“Cheap and convenient!”

This hotel is in Trivandrum, on Manjalikulam Road, just a short walk from the central train and bus stations. I'd tried to reserve a hotel ahead, but everything nice seemed to be booked due to a conference, so we decided to just find something when we got there. Our first stop was the tourist center (next to the Hotel Chaithram, opposite the train station), who were absolutely hopeless. They said the Chaithram was full and had no other suggestions, so we set off along Manjalikulam Road, one of the main hotel drags. After asking at a couple of hotels, we tried the Sukhvas and they had a non AC room available for 600IR a night. Bargain!

This is a traveller hotel...no frills! No towels or toilet paper. It's nothing much to look at, but it's in a great location (opposite the Highway Hotel). It's not particularly clean and I tried not to dwell on that too much, but the bed was comfortable and we had water on demand (no hot water, but to be honest it was too hot in Feb to want... More
