I had a wonderful expereince staying at Shalimar Lakewoods Homestay. Situated on the banks of River Karamana, the homestay offers a homely atmosphere with a variety of traditional Kerala cuisine. Continental food is also provided on order. Boating in the river, visit to nearby Kovalam beach and other sight seeing areas in Trivandrum is an enjoyable experience. The homestay has both air conditioned and non AC rooms with lot of parking space. Well connected to the airport, Trivandrum city and Kovalam. Shalimar Lakewoods is highly recommended for visitors seeking quiet time or families seeking to enjoy nature at its best.
